A Beautiful Cottage Garden In A Small Rustic Townhouse
This beautiful townhouse garden was dominated by a corner garden summerhouse and a mass of overgrown raised beds and pots
The Challenge: A Beautiful Cottage Garden In A Small Rustic Townhouse
Our clients were confined to only enjoy their garden from the small terrace immediately outside the patio doors.
Different areas of the garden needed to be linked differently, creating more usable space whilst keeping the garden full of colour.
Our Solution
The main element we wanted to keep in the design was the planting and how this created a cottage style effect. The client loved her plants and loved to be sat emersed within them.
Creating a series of raised beds, to create height within the garden and the use of porcelain paving which is non-porous, making the terrace really easy to clean, we were already starting to tick all the boxes.
The End Result
The client was overjoyed with the end result. Using a variety of materials, combining the rustic red brick with the white rendering on the raised planters really allowed the planting to pop.
The bright coloured porcelain allowed light to bounce off and brighten the area making the garden appear bigger whilst also making the garden easier to clean.
This garden has allowed the client to be able to sit back, relax and be emersed within a beautiful planting scheme.
